1. NPR host Day Gardner to speak at Waco SecondSunday October 12Day Gardner, founder of the National Black Pro-Life Union will speak at Pro-Life Waco’s monthly Second Sunday Pro-Life Gathering, October 12, at St. Mary’s Parish Hall, 1424 Columbus Ave.

An Italian buffet luncheon will be served during the noon hour. Two things about the meal. 1) Price is just $3 for adults. 2) The “value” of this “old county” Italian meal is beyond measure. Dr. Gardner will speak on “The Mission” during the first half hour of the 1-2 p.m. meeting. Day is a talk show host on American Family Radio. She was Miss Delaware and the first African-American semi-finalist in the Miss America Pageant. Pro-Life Waco is honored to have Day Gardner with us for our Second Sunday event.  And we would be honored to have you with us too. 2. Ryan Bomberger inspired large audience  at Texas Alliance for Life  banquet in Austin.
Ryan Bomberger and Texas Alliance for Life. What a combination! Last evening I attended the Texas Alliance for Life banquet in Austin. Several hundred pro-lifers joyfully attended this organized by TAL CEO Joe Pojman. Ryan Bomberger’s keynote presentation was fantastic. Ryan heads the Radiance Foundation headquartered in Atlanta. Ryan was conceived in rape and adopted into a large family thanks to the courage of his birth mother. Ryan was so dynamic and had such great graphics integrated into his presentation. Don’t mess an opportunity to see and hear Mr. Bomberger if he comes your way. Here are some quotes that stand out in my mind.
-----Unplanned does not mean unwanted. And unplanned does not mean unloved.
-----Some of the best things in life are unplanned.
-----Mothers change the world one diaper at a the time.
-----God is the author of triumph out of tragedy
-----Abortion doesn’t advance “colored people,” it kills them.
Whether you were pro-lifer involved in hometown action, statewide action, or national, the TAL banquet last evening was a tremendous inspiration.

Finally, I have created in July a Facebook group namedHometown Pro-Life Action with the sole purpose of spreading and strengthening the grassroots of the pro-life movement in the USA and beyond.  Check it out and JOIN if you like it.
