Democratic U.S. Senator Bob Casey has sided with abortion giant Planned Parenthood once again.
Casey had an opportunity to vote for defunding the mega abortion operation, which takes the lives of more than 300,000 innocent preborn children each year. Instead, Casey voted against the common sense defunding measure.
While claiming to be pro-life, Casey consistently and unapologetically votes pro-abortion, according to the National Right to Life legislative scorecard. His votes are in stark contrast to the courageous record of his father, the late Governor Robert Casey Sr., who stood firmly for the pro-life cause and against pro-abortion Democratic Party bosses.
Casey has even gone beyond voting in favor of taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood. He has issued statements strongly in support of the abortion organization. This, despite Congressional investigations into allegations that Planned Parenthood sold baby body parts. Also, Planned Parenthood stands accused of covering up the sexual abuse of minor girls.
In siding with Planned Parenthood time and time again, Casey is going against the wishes of the mainstream of Pennsylvania voters, who do not believe their hard-earned tax dollars should support organizations that perform abortions. With each pro-abortion vote, Casey is selling out the interests of precious preborn babies and their mothers, and wandering further and further from the values his father championed.
