Newborn Baby is Buried Alive But Miraculously Saved After People Hear Crying, Mother Arrested

Authorities in Los Angles have arrested, but not released the name of, the woman whose baby was found buried alive last Friday near a popular Southern California bike path.

The child, estimated to have been delivered between 24 and 36 hours before, miraculously survived. She is described as being in stable condition.

On Sunday Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. Bob Boese broke the news that the baby girl’s mother was arrested late last week, but told the Associated Press that her name would not be released. citing the ongoing nature of the investigation.

“Boese said tips from the public and media coverage of the baby’s rescue led to the arrest,” the AP reported.

Two sisters who were walking found the baby girl. CNN reported that the sheriff’s office said the baby girl was “cold to the touch” and wrapped in what appeared to be a hospital blanket.

“There’s indications that the child was born at a medical facility or at a hospital…because of the blanket,” LA Sheriff’s Dept. Sgt. Marvin Jaramilla told journalists on Saturday. “We do know that if the child had spent the night there in those conditions the baby wouldn’t have survived.”

Socialite Decides to Kill Herself in an Assisted Suicide at 50 Rather Than Grow Old

A judge in England recently set a deadly precedent when he allowed a psychologically ill woman to kill herself simply because she was worried about growing old and fat.

Judgge Justice MacDonald decided that the woman, “Clare,” had weighed the facts in her case and reached a “clear and reasoned decision” on her own, according to The Daily Mail. MacDonald said he ruled in her favor reluctantly because he knew the decision “will alarm and possibly horrify many.”

It is indeed a horrific decision that could threaten many vulnerable people’s lives. Those facing depression or other psychological illnesses could succumb to similar fates as Clare.

Three different psychiatrists examined Clare and diagnosed her with narcissistic personality disorder and underlying histrionic personality disorder, the report states. Despite knowing this, the judge ruled to allow her to kill herself. She died last weekend, shortly after turning 50 years old.

Clare was diagnosed with breast cancer late last year and went through surgery and radiotherapy but refused any medication because she was afraid it would make her fat, the report states.

In September, she tried to kill herself by overdosing and drinking champagne, but she lived through it. The Daily Mail reports more:

She was admitted to King’s College Hospital in London for specialist care and initially agreed to undergo kidney dialysis to treat the overdose.

Although her recovery was taking longer than expected, doctors reassured her that her prognosis was good. If she wanted it, she could have a second chance. A future awaited her.

Unqualified Abortionist Rejected from Licensure in Indiana

South Bend, IN - An abortionist who applied for a medical license in Indiana earlier this year has had his application closed because he does not meet the qualifications for licensure in Indiana.

Kissel's Indiana application was rejected because he did not achieve a high enough FLEX score on an examination that needed to be passed in order to qualify for licensure in the United States. The FLEX exam has since been replaced by the USMLE three-step exam.

"According to your Flex exam scores report, you did not obtain an average weighted score of 75. Please consider your application of licensure closed as you do not meet our examination requirements," stated a letter to Kissel from the Professional Licensing Agency dated December 1, 2015.

MSNBC Tries to Link San Bernadino Terrorism to Pro-Lifers: “Planned Parenthood is Blocks Away”

Leave it to the left-wing hosts at MSNBC to try to link the terrorism in San Bernadino to the pro-life movement. The liberal television station was quick to bring up the location of a Planned Parenthood abrotion clniic — even though it was totally irrelevant to the terrorism at hand. As an MSNBC host said:

“San Bernardino about an hour outside of Los Angeles, inland. ‘Way from the ocean. This area looks to be an area with several service buildings, medical service buildings. A neighborhood nearby. The Planned Parenthood of San Bernardino is a few blocks away and told us they’re not involved in this in way obviously in light of the shooting last Friday in Colorado Springs and making sure that people are not confused there because it is close proximity to these facility.”

Never mind that the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic is actually well over a mile a way.

Meanwhile, as sketchy details unfolded in the first minutes following the beginning of a terrorist attack in San Bernadino, California, CNN attempted to use the attack to lambaste pro-life people in the wake of the horrific shooting last week at a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Colorado Springs. CNN tried to politicize the San Bernadino terrorist attack — even after acknowledging that the attack did not occur at a Planned Parenthood abortion center — by asking if one is located nearby. Other liberal media outlets followed suit.

Twin Baby Who Died 74 Minutes After Birth Becomes the Youngest-Ever Organ Donor

Hope Lee lived for just 74 minutes outside the womb, but her tiny life is still helping to save others.

Doctor discovered that Hope had a condition called anencephaly in the 13th week of pregnancy, her parents Andrew and Emma Lee told BBC News. Usually fatal, anencephaly is the absence of a major part of the brain, brain stem or skull.

The Lees refused to abort Hope (pictured on the left above). Instead, they decided to treasure the time they had with their daughter; and they decided to create a legacy for her after she died by donating her organs, the report states.

“It was a very sad time, but our whole family are signed-up for organ donation,” her father told the BBC. “We had time to plan everything we wanted to do and the hospital was able to put into action the transplant of the kidneys, and some liver cells were taken as well.”

Hope was born last week in Cambridge, England. Her twin brother, Josh, who was born after her, survives. The Lees had a little more than an hour to spend with their newborn daughter before she died.

“Just before she died she bent her fingers around my finger and I broke down,” her father said. “Seventy four minutes isn’t long, but it has given us a chance for a bit of closure.”

After her death, her family donated her kidneys for transplant – making Hope the youngest organ donor in the UK, the report states.

China's Abortion Policy: New Name, Same Death

A few weeks back Chinese officials announced the “abandonment” of their decades-old one-child policy that was to prevent any woman from having a second child.

It involved assembling an army estimated at one million public family planning officials and specific plans to force abortions on women for any pregnancy after their first, imposing massive fines on them, and even preventing those children who avoided the abortionists’ death chamber from getting an education.

Many around the globe, stressed by newly developed threats to humanity from Muslim terrorists, listened to China, breathed a sigh of relief and checked China’s baby limits off their list.

That was premature, says Reggie Littlejohn, the chief of Women’s Rights Without Frontiers, which has fought China’s forced abortions for years.

In fact, according to testimony she prepared for a meeting of the Congressional Executive Commission on China on Thursday, she explained that the nation is still running the same death program; it’s just that the penalties kick in after two children, rather than one.
The hearing was held by commission, whose members include Rep. Chris Smith and Sen. Marco Rubio.

“China’s two-child policy continues the same massive crimes against women and children that were committed under the one-child policy,” Littlejohn said bluntly. “A two-child policy will not end forced abortion or forced sterilization.”

After Adopting Six Children, This Couple Opened an Adoption Agency Next to Planned Parenthood

Parents of ten children, six of them through adoption, Randy and Kelsey Bohlender have more personal experience than most involved in the adoption process. Earlier this year, the Bohlenders re-launched their own state-licensed adoption agency — naming it Zoe’s House, after their first adopted daughter.

This determined couple places their pro-life convictions front and center in their work. “The idea that children are unwanted is a farce,” said Randy Bohlender in a recent interview. “We can find homes for these kids.”

It’s not by accident their agency opened less than a mile from the local Planned Parenthood clinic. Now Bohlender addresses recent concerns over unethical practices at Planned Parenthood, what he’s hearing in the adoption community… and how prayer gives his family strength for challenges they face everyday.

Bound4LIFE: With Zoe’s House Adoption Agency located near a Planned Parenthood clinic, what are your team’s hopes for local women facing an unplanned pregnancy?

Randy Bohlender: Our hope is that they would always choose life. We wanted to be near the local Planned Parenthood clinic when we established this agency.

But it is a major mental leap for a woman to go from I’m going to abort a baby to I’m going to make an adoption plan for my baby. You cannot navigate that path in one conversation; it takes several steps.

So we’re glad to be near Planned Parenthood, and some may see them as our competition; what we’re really focused on is serving birth mothers well.
Bound4LIFE: This past weekend, a tragic incident of violence occurred at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs; three people were killed and many injured. As one whose pro-life convictions define your journey, what is your response?

Randy Bohlender: Obviously, this is a tragedy that pro-life advocates mourn.

This was a mental health incident, not a pro-life incident; any truly pro-life protest is characterized by peace and nonviolence. I am saddened for the loss of life, as are people on both sides of the abortion issue.

I’m also somewhat embarrassed at the conservative pundits who were trying to spin the shooting as not targeting the Planned Parenthood office, even as the bullets were still flying. Sometimes the purely political arm of the conservative movement needs to put the phone down and just wait to see what’s happening.
