Abortion Advocates ‘Glitter Bomb’ PA Pregnancy Centers, Frame PA Pro-Life Chapter

By Maria Gallagher, Legislative Director
Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation

During her early school age years, my daughter loved to talk about all the things she could do with glitter and glue. By adding in construction paper, she could make magic. I still treasure one of the glitter-filled ornaments she handcrafted one Christmas.

You may have seen reports about individuals receiving “glitter bombs” in the mail. These are nondescript envelopes which are filled with mounds of glitter. The unlucky recipient does not learn of the prank until after he or she has opened the envelope and the glitter spills out onto hands, clothes, and desks. In short, it creates quite a mess—much more of a mess than the typical elementary school student doing a craft project.I find it particularly ironic then, that the pro-abortion community would choose to use one of the staples of childhood, glitter, to spread their anti-child message.

In March, the Washington Times reported that Congressman Jeff Fortenberry (R-Nebraska) received a glitter bomb “apparently in retaliation for the Congressman’s pro-life stance.”

A note which came with the glitter bomb read, “Congrats, you’ve earned this for denying women their right to choice. Mind your own uterus.”

Activists to Protest at the Austin Planned Parenthood this Thursday

Activists will protest at the Austin Planned Parenthood on Thursday to call attention to Planned Parenthood's targeting of African-American women and other minorities, who suffer the most from abortion abuses.

By Cheryl Sullenger
Operation Rescue

Houston, Texas - As Infowars.com is launching a protest at Planned Parenthood in Austin, Texas, Operation Rescue has released four 911 records related to medical emergencies at Planned Parenthood's abortion facility in Houston.

The 911 calls were placed on January 31, February 6, February 25, and February 26, 2015.

According to the Infowars.com web site, "Infowarriors and pro-life activists are encouraged to come and peacefully protest Planned Parenthood's admitted targeting of the black community and all innocent children, as outlined by founder Margaret Sanger."
Protest Details:
Time: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. CST
Date: Thursday, May 21
Location: 201 E Ben White Blvd, Austin, TX 78704

The Houston Planned Parenthood, where the recent medical emergencies took place, is located an area that targets poor urban women of color.

"There is an old adage that says actions speak louder than words. After hospitalizing four women in less than 30 days, Planned Parenthood can no longer pretend to care about women," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. "Planned Parenthood clinics are not equipped to cope with even the most common abortion complications and must call for emergency assistance and transport when abortions go wrong. And they appear to go wrong all too often at the Houston Planned Parenthood, where unfortunately Black and Hispanic women are bearing the brunt of the abuse."

Read on to find out what happened to four Planned Parenthood patients and hear the actual 911 calls!

The Guiding Star Project

The Guiding Star Project is a non-profit organization whose mission is to bring about a Culture of Life through the nationwide establishment of holistic comprehensive health centers offering life-affirming services for women and their families.

To accomplish this mission we will work to provide guidance and support to individuals and organizations wanting to unite and work cooperatively in their own communities in order to better coordinate their services for the benefit for women and families.

The philosophy of Guiding Star centers around Natural Law and New Feminism.

The Guiding Star Project honors the Natural Law ethic; a way of life which is given to us by the Creator and is evident through the natural order of creation and human reason, therefore:

We believe:

  • In the inherent dignity of every human being beginning with natural conception and ending with natural death;
  • That every life is unique and holds potential; every life deserves celebration regardless of the circumstances of conception, status, or health;
  • That life naturally begins at conception within women and requires a “yes” on the part of women to be realized. Therefore, women are at the heart of the Culture of Life;
  • In holistic, women-centered solutions to the many challenges women face in our society today;
  • In each woman’s innate ability to nourish life, either physically or spiritually;
  • That fertility and childbirth are natural, healthy biological processes and that knowledge of them empowers women;
  • That abortion and contraception interrupt natural, healthy biological processes;
  • That women should not feel forced to choose between their children and their education and/or career; and
  • That our bodies were created beautifully and deserve respect, understanding, and care.

We seek through the establishment of Guiding Star Centers:

  • To overcome all forms of violence, discrimination, exploitation, and injustice towards women and children;
  • To provide opportunities for community-wide education and discussion on the many complex issues challenging a life-giving society;
  • To create a space dedicated solely to the protection and promotion of Life; and
  • To connect organizations that offer services that build up a Culture of Life, providing;
  • Emotional, physical, spiritual, and financial support for life-affirming choices;
  • Alternatives to contraception and abortion and will neither provide nor refer for these measures;
  • Innovative services that honor Natural Law in difficult circumstances involving fertility, pregnancy, family life, medical treatments, and end of life issues;
  • Special assistance to women and families experiencing an unexpected pregnancy; and
  • Education necessary to guide women and families in the natural process of life and fertility.

Join the Movement

Spokane 911 Records Censored, But Still Show Planned Parenthood Patient Hemorrhaged

By Cheryl Sullenger
Operation Rescue

Spokane, WA - New 911 recordings obtained by Operation Rescue show that a Planned Parenthood patient in Spokane who was transported to the hospital on April 15, 2015, was hemorrhaging.

"This is Angie from Planned Parenthood. We need an ambulance for a patient we can't get to stop bleeding," a Planned Parenthood caller told a 911 dispatcher.

The Planned Parenthood worker was transferred to a Fire Department dispatcher who asked her what happened. The rest of the recording was redacted.

"Planned Parenthood in Spokane had no ability to treat this patient who suffered a common abortion complication. Many women are not aware that free-standing abortion facilities cannot help them in the event of a medical emergency and that there will be delays in receiving emergency care," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman.

In Pennsylvania, Gosnell Case Dominates Cortes Confirmation Hearing

By Maria Gallagher, Legislative Director
Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation

The case of convicted abortionist Kermit Gosnell cast a shadow over the confirmation hearing of Pennsylvania Secretary of State nominee Pedro Cortes.

It was during Cortes' previous tenure at the Department of State when the department failed to take action against Gosnell, who was ultimately convicted of killing three full-term babies and causing the death of a female patient.

The Senate State Government committee declined to recommend Cortes, opting instead to move his nomination to the full Senate floor without taking a position on him. It's considered a highly unusual procedural move.

Most of the questions at the hearing revolved around the Gosnell case, which is considered one of the most grievous oversight failures in state history. The Department of State had an opportunity to put Gosnell out of business, but failed to do so, during Cortes' previous stint at State.

The Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation, Inc., is committed to promoting the dignity and value of human life from conception to natural death and to restoring legal protection for preborn children. Through legislation, political action, education and other legal means, we proclaim the truth about abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia.

Why You Should Vote NO to Redefining Marriage in Ireland

The government has failed to tell you about the consequences of redefining marriage. Enda Kenny says that the Referendum is a "simple" question to do with providing equality for two people of the same sex who love each other. Changing the Constitution, however, is never "simple".

Politician's don't want you to know that this Referendum:
  • Redefines Marriage
  • Redefines the Family
  • Removes a child's right to a mother and father
  • Prevents any preference for a married man and woman in adoption or fostering
  • Permits IVF and Surrogacy enabling Same Sex Couples to produce children who may never know one or both of their biological parents.
  • Introduce same-sex text books into the School Curriculum

If you care about any of these issues you should consider the consequences of your vote on May 22nd.

HOW WE KNOW WE'RE WINNING

From Charmaine Yoest, Ph.D.
President & CEO, Americans United for Life

In the last few months we've heard Big Abortion say they want a national discussion on abortion. We both know this profit-driven industry is trying desperately to normalize this injustice.

But do they really want to talk about abortion? Or do they just want to shut down any opposition to their pro-abortion narrative?

Watch this one-minute video below to find out:

Because we know that LIFE is winning. We have both seen the "tidal wave" of life-saving legislation sweeping the nation. We have seen the polls. And the fact that Big Abortion is trying so hard to silence any opposition is even more proof.

Americans United for Life (AUL) is the legal architect of the pro-life movement. We are accumulating victories, building momentum, and advancing a culture of life in America. Our vision is a nation in which everyone is welcomed in life and protected in law. The first national pro-life organization in America, AUL has been committed to defending human life since 1971.

Dear Planned Parenthood CEO..

...Let Me Teach You About Compassion And Respect

by Matt Walsh
The Blaze

Dear Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards,

Hello, my name is Matt Walsh, and I am a longtime financial contributor to your organization. Despite my frequent charitable giving, I have never received so much as a thank you card. I find this rather rude, and have been planning to write to you about this matter for some time.

But I now have a more urgent situation to address, as I just read with great interest your recent Twitter tantrum over the 20-week abortion ban passed by the House. In a series of tweets, you called it“dangerous,” “misguided,” and “backwards” to prevent doctors from executing 5-month-old babies who can feel pain and who are only three weeks (in some cases even less than that) from being viable outside the womb.

Dangerous, you said, to not kill babies.

And not satisfied to simply pretend that our national security is threatened when we suffer a slight reduction in the number of corpses collected in the HAZMAT dumpsters behind your clinics, you went on to insist that saving the lives of children “lacks compassion and respect.”

It’s on the issue of compassion and respect that I find the need, as a lifetime Planned Parenthood booster, to interject.

You say it is not compassionate or respectful to do anything at all that might preserve the life of this human being:

If you are sincere, then I think you are in dire need of a vocabulary lesson.

Before we even get to the most relevant concern – the millions of babies you’ve killed — why don’t we start with the fact that, as I mentioned, I am an annual donor to your company, even though I do not choose to be and I do not want to be.

Matt Walsh is a blogger, writer, speaker, and professional truth sayer.

New Paper Warns Against Expansion of Physician-Assisted Suicide in the U.S.

Assisted Suicide Is Not Compassion‏

Chuck Donovan, President
Charlotte Lazier Institute

WASHINGTON, D.C. – As an increasing number of states weigh the legalization of physician-assisted suicide, a new paper released by the Charlotte Lozier Institute (CLI) elaborates the arguments against the practice, citing numerous abuses. Award-winning author Wesley J. Smith examines how assisted suicide impacts the states and countries where it has been legalized, particularly legalization’s effect on medical ethics and patient care. Smith is a senior fellow at the Discovery Institute’s Center on Human Exceptionalism and a consultant to the Patients Rights Council.

Smith writes:
“Assisted suicide and euthanasia would profoundly change—are profoundly changing—the ethics of medicine and cultural views about the value and worth of people with difficult lives, whether caused by illness, disability, or mental anguish. And it is hurting many of those who strive to cope with these conditions, but repeatedly are told that their lives are not worth protecting from suicide, and indeed that, if they want to die, society will allow doctors to provide the means.
“…legalizing assisted suicide would be dangerous and reckless. With our dysfunctional health care system, high rates of elder abuse, already alarmingly significant suicide levels, pronounced economic uncertainties, divisions of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, class, and immigration status, and the concomitant lack of mutual trust, legalizing assisted suicide would be bad medicine and even worse public policy.”

“Assisted suicide practices in Europe have become so permissive that doctors are now routinely euthanizing adults, infants, and children – without consent. Such a radical devaluing of the human person naturally has a profound impact on medical ethics and the doctor-patient relationship. ” said Chuck Donovan, president of the Charlotte Lozier Institute. “Wesley Smith’s paper is a must-read for lawmakers and voters considering legal approval of this practice.”

Smith’s paper, Assisted Suicide is Not Compassion, is a part of the Lozier Institute’s American Reports series and can be read using this link.
