Tell Harrisburg - "Do NOT Support Planned Parenthood"‏

From Pennsylvania Family Council

Did you know that 94% of Planned Parenthood's services for pregnant women are abortions?

Planned Parenthood is more than just the largest abortion provider in Pennsylvania. Their actions tell us that they are not a friend to women. And we need your help in making their actions known to your state lawmakers.

How You Can Help

1) Pass on a message to your State Senator and State Representative - "Please do not support Planned Parenthood."

When contacting your State Senator and State Representative about this issue, you can write your own letter, or you could use or modify the letter below:

Subject: Please Do NOT Support Planned Parenthood

As you approach budget decisions this year for Pennsylvania, I would ask that you please NOT support Planned Parenthood.

- Why would Planned Parenthood be opposed to their doctors being required to obtain admitting privileges at hospitals?

- Why does Planned Parenthood receive taxpayer funding (totaling over $540 million last year) when 94% of their services to pregnant women are abortion and whose own nurses in other states accuse them of setting abortion quotas and running a "meat-market style of assembly-line abortions"?

Planned Parenthood is not a friend to women.

Please:
1. Do not fund Planned Parenthood with our tax dollars.
2. Support HB 1762 to require abortionists to get admitting privileges at local hospitals.

Sincerely,

If you don't know who your state Senator and state Representative are,  use this link and type in your street address, city, and zip code.  A window will then pop up with the names and contact information for your State Senator and State Representative.

Note:  Note: For what it’s worth and whenever possible, we highly recommend faxing your messages to state representatives and senators as our elected officials receive countless e-mails, some of which are likely dumped as spam and a phone message may not get to them exactly as you stated.  A hardcopy letter often receives greater attention; however, that letter often requires more time to pass through greater security before reaching the intended official.   A fax solves this problem because it’s an “instant letter” and while legislators receive fewer faxes today, their offices still have and use working fax machines

We realize not everyone has access to a fax machine, but if you do or know someone who does, we strongly recommend this option.
