Lily’s
Gift is a ministry for parents who have received a poor prenatal diagnosis and
have decided to carry their baby to term. Lily's Gift is a ministry that
provides support to parents carrying to term following a prenatal diagnosis
that utilizes the perinatal hospice model of support while following the
ethical teachings of the Catholic Church with regard to the dignity of human life,
disability advocacy, and end of life issues. God gives purpose to each person
no matter how long or short their life expectancy.
Lily’s
Gift includes a Gifting support that provides baptismal/burial gowns that are
provided to the families that we are ministering to. Gifting affirms the
dignity of the baby, encouraging and supporting the parent’s decision to carry
to term and parent the child, for a precious moment in some cases.
We
are currently in need of wedding gowns and 1st Communion dresses,
used or new, clean or stained. The dresses will be made into baptismal/burial
gowns and given to parents for their infants who have been named and loved for
their short presence here on earth. Thank you for generously supporting our
