NJ Assembly Schedules Hearing on Doctor Prescribed Suicide Bill Thursday, June 5, 2014

ASSISTED SUICIDE HEARING ON A2270

What Can You Do?

Attend the Hearing

The hearing on A2270, New Jersey’s Assisted Suicide Bill, will be held at the NJ State House on Thursday, June 5, at 10 a.m. We should have as many people as we can pack the hearing and show our opposition to this bill. The State House is located at 125 W State St, 4th Floor - Hearing Room 11.

Call AND Email Members of the Assembly Health Committee

It is important for the Members of the Assembly Health Committee to know there is opposition to the assisted suicide bill. We can do this by calling and sending an email. Emails can be easily discarded and ignored so placing a call is important as well. Keep both emails and calls short and to the point:

· Tell them your name

· Where you are from

· Ask them to oppose Assisted suicide, please vote no on A2270

All phone calls and emails need to occur between now and Thursday morning, June 5, so don’t delay.
