From John Pisciotta,
Director of Pro-Life Waco
Okay what is our action? The PBS Point of View series is set to air “After Tiller” at 9 p.m. Central Time on Monday, Sept.1. I encourage 3 actions: 1. Write your local PBS station and complain about this documentary designed to normalize late-term abortion and abortionists. Just look at the PBS synopsis below painting abortionists as heroes. In my hometown of Waco, TX email to: knct@knct.org 2. Watch the dreadful show and take notes on Monday evening. 3. Write and send a letter to the editor of your local newspaper complaining about the biased “After Tiller” program paid for by your tax dollars. Also send this letter to your PBS station. I know we are mad about this program. Being upset means little without Hometown ACTION. Note: letters to PBS stations and local newspapers to not need to be long. 100-200 words would be fine. Don't worry about perfection. Just take action. What is important is they know that there are real people out there who oppose the killing of innocents. SILENCE IS SURRENDER. Here is the PBS Synopsis. Martha Shane and Lana Wilson’s After Tiller is a deeply humanizing and probing portrait of the only four doctors in the United States still openly performing third-trimester abortions in the wake of the 2009 assassination of Dr. George Tiller in Wichita, Kansas—and in the face of intense protest from abortion opponents. It is also an examination of the desperate reasons women seek late abortions. Rather than offering solutions, After Tiller presents the complexities of these women’s difficult decisions and the compassion and ethical dilemmas of the doctors and staff who fear for their own lives as they treat their patients. Also, the Facebook groups Hometown Pro-Life Action that I launched less than two months ago now has over 1500 members. Please join and get into the ACTION. Click here. |
