Freedom in the Balance

R.J. McVeigh
Great Lakes Regional Coordinator
Students for Life of America

This October, Students for Life of America’s Great Lakes Regional Coordinator, R.J. McVeigh, will have the privilege of attending and speaking at The Pennsylvania Conference on Faith & Society.  Join us for an intensive weekend of dialogue and fellowship at The Westin Hotel and Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA. This all-expenses-paid conference aims to bring together students and leading scholars to discuss the role of religion in the public square and at American universities today. Participants will have the opportunity to attend panel discussions and lectures, learn from top scholars and develop lifelong friendships. Other confirmed speakers include Ryan Anderson of The Heritage Foundation and Professor Christopher Tollefsen of the University of South Carolina.

R.J. will be participating on a panel discussion on Campus Activism – a crucial part of any Students for Life group on a college or university campus.  The panel will discuss effective practices for reaching college students and how to become caring and effective activists while in college.

The Pennsylvania Family Institute and the Intercollegiate Studies Institute will provide hotel accommodations for all students participating in the conference on Friday night at The Westin. Please note that all on-site expenses will be covered, but participants are expected to arrange their own travel plans.

Please join us for a wonderful weekend of fellowship and dialogue!
