Christmas and Abortion

The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness has not overcome it. --John 1:5

from Shawn Carney

Christmas and abortion are forever linked as Our Savior chose the womb to come into the world to save us from our sins. Today, the womb is the most dangerous place in the world.

Planned Parenthood's treatment of Christmas should break our hearts and yet give us hope as we close out the year. I share why in this new article: Millions of Women Will be Haunted by This Come Christmas.

Today, there are 15,256 children saved from abortion who will have a Christmas because of your prayers and sacrifice. I'd like you to meet a few of them in the short video below (you can also view it on YouTube here).

This Christmas, we can also celebrate:

  • 186 former abortion workers who are out of the abortion industry
  • 99 abortion facilities that have closed their doors

It's been a busy and big year, and we hit the ground running in 2019 with a big announcement and upcoming events to impact Planned Parenthood's bottom line.

Thank you for all you have done for abortion-vulnerable mothers and babies in 2018. May God bless you and your family with every blessing in this joyful season!

40 Days for Life is a community-based campaign that takes a determined, peaceful approach to showing local communities the consequences of abortion in their own neighborhoods, for their own friends and families. It puts into action a desire to cooperate with God in the carrying out of His plan for the end of abortion. It draws attention to the evil of abortion through the use of a three-point program:
  • Prayer and fasting
  • Constant vigil
  • Community outreach
