Christmas Caroling at Planned Parenthood in Los Angeles

from Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust LA

All I want for Christmas . . . is for you to join me in saving children's lives! Christmas is a wonderful time of year filled with joy, family, friends, and most importantly Christ's birth! But just as Mary had to escape the butcher King Herod to give birth to Jesus, we must help women flee from Planned Parenthood to give life to their precious preborn children.

I have personally seen the effectiveness of Christmas caroling at abortion clinics and how the simplicity of caroling and giving gift baskets speaks hope into a woman's life who is heading into Planned Parenthood to abort her child.

We invite you to join The Resistance this year for A ProLife Christmas Carol, Saturday December 5th in Los Angeles, CA as we continue to focus on Planned Parenthood.
When: Saturday, December 5th
Time: Starting at 8:30 a.m.
Where: Planned Parenthood Bixby
Can't make this one? Check our website for other planned caroling outreaches or start planning a Christmas Caroling event at an abortion clinic in your own community.

Don't worry about the details -- we've got you covered! We have been doing this for years and want to give you all the resources you need. If you have questions, we are available to answer them. Head over to A ProLife Christmas Carol and utilize the following tools to have a successful event:

Get Started: Find your local abortion clinic and invite your friends, family, and neighbors to join your event. All of the resources you need are on our website, such as: church bulletin inserts, recruitment handouts, caroling songbooks, and our popular sidewalk counseling manuals.

Register: Let us know that you are joining the 2015 A ProLife Christmas Carol Project and register your hometown today! Once we receive your registration, we will update our website so that others can join you at your event.

If you have specific questions, please check out our page. If you are not able to find answers to your questions, please contact us at info@survivors.la or 951-750-1114.

Pro-Life Waco November Updates

from John Pisciotta (The Protest Retireee)
Director of Pro-Life Waco

1. Pedestrian Overpass Outreach on the day of BU/OU football game.

The plan to have an Interstate 35 pedestrian overpass outreach the day of the Baylor football game really worked out well. The traffic was huge and brought in some people who were not typically in our fair city. We even had one couple of University of Oklahoma fans come up and join us for a brief period of time. We had 10 of our faithful up on the overpass with the experience of seeing a whole lot of traffic and a whole lot of affirmative honking. Those with very good eyesight could occasionally see a passenger offering a negative hand sign.

We did have one setback--the arrival of a Texas hi-way patrolman and a Waco a police officer. They claimed we could not legally attach our signs to the wire mesh surrounding the overpass. After a long discussion we eventually relented and held the signs. Unfortunately we did not have enough people there to hold all of the signs we had displayed. So this brings an important change for future overpass outreach. We’re going to have to have larger numbers participating to display all our important signs. As with everything in Pro-Life Waco, we need y-o-u!

2. Protest Bank of American in Month #3

#ProtestBOA is led by Pro-Life Waco for Waco and the capital city of Texas. ProtestABQ is now delivering weekly BOA protests in Albuquerque. #ProtestBOA coming to two even larger cities in and out of Texas in the very near future. Do you live in a city with the Bank of America branch? If yes, could you join this nationwide protest? If you are willing to join, Pro-Life Waco will send you two large signs printed with messages front and back. We will guide you to do the rest. The signs will be nicely printed and free. What do you think? Could you join the campaign?

On November 17th we delivered #ProtestBOA on Valley Mills Drive from 11 to 1 p.m Did we win? We win every time we show up to respect and honor of babies killed and desecrated by Planned Parenthood. Two examples from today: A gentleman took our flyer before he went in to Bank of America for business. When he came out, he asked for another flyer since he had given his to a bank manager. A lady came out and visited with me ask extensively. She thanked us for taking a stand in the public square. She said she would close out her accounts at Bank of America within the coming week. She complimented us on our lifesaver T-shirts. We always carry extra T-shirts with us and she was very happy to take one home and said she would definitely wear it.

Thursday is #ProtestBOA in busy downtown Austin. The location for #ProtestBOA in Austin at the Bank of America is 515 Congress Ave. If you live near Austin just come on down to join in for an experience of a lifetime. I know that in my 20 years of pro-life, I have never been in a situation of mingling with throngs of pedestrians--some who love you and some not so much. We will again vanpool from the St. Mary’s parking lot at 15th and Columbus Avenue departing at 9 AM for the protest. We will stop in Georgetown for lunch and be back in Waco by about 4 p.m. Let’ me know if you will join the gang. Planned Parenthood has committed unspeakable atrocities. Our defense of the babies in the womb threatened by Planned Parenthood must be unprecedented. I hope you will not let these opportunities to be a part of #ProtestBOA pass you by.  More now and more updates on #ProtestBOA by using this link.

Just minutes ago, I learned about this national online article about #ProtestBOA. The writer is against us. However, the article is still a plus for our campaign.  You can read it by clicking on this link.

3. Letter to the Waco Tribune-Herald blasts PLW Director

Wow, I was greeted on Sunday morning with huge criticism from a local abortion supporter in the Waco newspaper. A malicious letter like this from Cheryl Foster provides an OPPORTUNITY. I ask you to send a letter of response to the Waco Tribune-Herald. You can send to letters@wacotrib.com include your address and phone number in the letter you send.

The Waco Trib likes to print letters from out of town folks. A letter of 100 to 250 words is most likely to be printed. Let’s overload the Waco Trib in-box.

Of course, I am not a hater. If I have a name other that what my mother and father gave me, I prefer “The Protest Retiree.”  Father Stephen Imbarrato, founder of ProtestABQ, is called The Protest Priest. I lifted my name from his. Let’s all have a great and loving week in the battle for the Gospel of Life.

3rd Annual Empty Manger Christmas Caroling Scheduled for Norristown, PA

from Rita Smith, M.E.V. (Missionaries of the Gospel of Life)
Campaign Director, 40 Days for Life/Norristown
Program Director, Sidewalk Advocates for Life/Norristown

As we have given much gratitude, for the past 2015 Fall 40 Days for Life/Norristown and on Thanksgiving day to God and all that he has provided for us all in abundance. We are now preparing for the upcoming Holy Season of Advent which begins on Sunday, November 29th and Christmas.

Also, we are preparing for the opportunity to attend the "Empty Manger" Christmas Caroling at Norristown's Planned Parenthood.

What better time to share the love of Christ than when we celebrate His birth? We can bring faith and hope to Norristown's Planned Parenthood this Christmas season.

The purpose of the event is to bring the joy and hope of Christmas to these places of misery and despair. Children have been saved from abortion when their mothers heard the carols and reconsidered their choice for abortion in light of the Christmas story.

Please, SAVE THE DATE for the following:
EVENT: 3rd Annual Empty Manger Christmas Caroling
WHERE: Norristown Planned Parenthood
1221 Powell & Wood St's. (Map)
DATE: Saturday, December 12, 2015 (Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Unborn & Americas)
TIME: 10:30 am to 11:30 am
Please dress warm and invite your family and friends. All are welcome!

The empty manger is a dual symbol. Like the empty manger lovingly placed in every Christmas crèche in anticipation of celebrating the Nativity of Jesus Christ, it represents the joy that ought to accompany the birth of every child.

The “Empty Manger” Christmas Caroling Day has become an important annual event for pro-life groups across the country.

So they went in haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the infant lying in the manger. When they saw this, they made known the message that had been told them about this child. All who heard it were amazed by what had been told them by the shepherds. And Mary kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart. Luke 2:16-19

What is easier than singing carols outside an abortion facility? God says whatever you do for the least of them you do for Him – what will you do? Will you join us as we sing Silent Night and reach out to the least of these?

Brigham Quietly Reopens Maryland Abortion Clinic Where Patient Died

By Cheryl Sullenger
Operation Rescue

Baltimore, Maryland - Operation Rescue has learned that the disgraced New Jersey abortionist Steven Chase Brigham has flown the under the regulatory radar to reopen three Maryland abortion clinics that were shut down by the state in 2013 for dangerous abortion practices, including the death of one patient.

Undercover phone calls confirmed that abortions were being scheduled for his Baltimore, Silver Springs, and Cheverly locations, which are still advertised on his American Women's Services website.

In order to avoid having to re-license his abortion clinics, Brigham's Maryland locations are offering only medication abortions. Facility licenses and inspections are only required if surgical abortions are conducted.

"Right now, Brigham is profiting from medication abortions at three abortion clinics that the State of Maryland said were too dangerous to operate," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. "By restricting abortions to those done by pills or injections, Brigham can operate without oversight, without inspections, and without any accountability. This is a recipe for disaster for the women who are duped into thinking he is running legitimate medical offices. There is nothing legitimate about Brigham's medical or business practices, as his record of abortion abuses proves."

Continue reading and take action! Please join Operation Rescue in demanding the closure of Brigham's Maryland abortion clinics. E-mail link is included at the end of the article.

NYC Parade Chairman and Critic of St. Patrick Harvests Fetal Tissue

Joseph Schaeffer
Crisis Magazine

The new chairman of New York City’s iconic Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, who has proposed eliminating the honoring of Saint Patrick from the parade’s bylaws, is “a director” of a foundation that financially supports medical experiments that use fetal tissue harvested from abortions and acquired for a fee from a company at the heart of the Planned Parenthood video scandal that has horrified the nation.

Dr. John Lahey, who took control of the parade’s board of directors in July, called a meeting for Oct. 29 with agenda points designed to secularize the traditional celebration of Irish Catholic heritage.

Matthew Hennessey, writing in Crisis, reports:

According to the meeting’s published agenda, committee members will decide whether to remove the section that states, “The Parade will be held in honor of St Patrick, the Patron Saint of the Archdiocese of New York and the Patron Saint of Ireland….”
[T]he board of directors will also vote on whether to remove the requirement that members of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade committee be Roman Catholic, active members of a parish, and of Irish descent. The formation of a new executive committee will exclude affiliated organizations like the Ancient Order of Hibernians from any future decision-making role in the parade and grant Lahey near total control of the event.

The meeting was later postponed, Irish Echo reports.

Lahey is also president of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. On his bio page at the university’s website, Lahey is listed as “a director of” a group called the “Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy.”

See Which Health Plans Don't Cover Abortion on Demand‏

from Chuck Donovan
President, Charlotte Lozier Institute

This month is Open Enrollment once again for Obamacare. That means your Charlotte Lozier Institute (CLI) team is at it again seeking answers to the major question, “Which plans do not cover elective abortion?”

If you intend to sign up or renew your plan, please hold off for this week. CLI and the Family Research Council are currently poring through documents for each and every health plan on the Obamacare exchanges to assist you in your search. When CLI began examining Obamacare health plans in 2013, we discovered that information on abortion coverage was anything but public or clear.

Pro-life choices were few and far between (and even non-existent) in some states. No one seemed to be able to answer questions about the required payment into a separate abortion fund either. And total confusion on our simple question continued throughout 2014-2015.

Some good news is in order, however. If you live in Rhode Island, you will now have at least one new health plan per metal level on the exchange that excludes elective abortion from coverage.

Please keep checking our findings HERE through the next few days if you intend to sign up for a plan!

If you have any questions or helpful information on your experience with Obamacare, please don’t hesitate to reply to via e-mail  at info@lozierinstitute.org. Thank you for your continued support.

The goal of the Charlotte Lozier Institute is to promote deeper public understanding of the value of human life, motherhood, and fatherhood, and to identify policies and practices that will protect life and serve both women’s health and family well-being. Our profound conviction is that the insights available through the best science, sociology and psychology cannot help but demonstrate that each and every human is not only “fearfully and wonderfully made” but blessed to be born at this time in human history.

Americans United for Life Declared "Engineers of the Pro-Life Movement'

from Ovide Lamontagne, Esq. , General Counsel
Americans United for Life

The Guardian has just published an article declaring Americans United for Life the “country’s most powerful anti-abortion group.”

But, they don’t stop there. They go on to describe AUL as having “written the model legislation formost new anti-abortion regulations passed in the last decade and a half.”

AUL’s winning strategy is ensuring pro-life victories throughout the country, slowing the growth of Big Abortion and leading the legislative push against Planned Parenthood’s horrific trafficking of baby hearts, lungs, and livers.

With your help and support, we are winning - and they are taking notice.

Read the article from The Guardian using this link.

Americans United for Life (AUL) is the legal architect of the pro-life movement. We are accumulating victories, building momentum, and advancing a culture of life in America. Our vision is a nation in which everyone is welcomed in life and protected in law. The first national pro-life organization in America, AUL has been committed to defending human life since 1971.
