3rd Annual Empty Manger Christmas Caroling Scheduled for Norristown, PA

from Rita Smith, M.E.V. (Missionaries of the Gospel of Life)
Campaign Director, 40 Days for Life/Norristown
Program Director, Sidewalk Advocates for Life/Norristown

As we have given much gratitude, for the past 2015 Fall 40 Days for Life/Norristown and on Thanksgiving day to God and all that he has provided for us all in abundance. We are now preparing for the upcoming Holy Season of Advent which begins on Sunday, November 29th and Christmas.

Also, we are preparing for the opportunity to attend the "Empty Manger" Christmas Caroling at Norristown's Planned Parenthood.

What better time to share the love of Christ than when we celebrate His birth? We can bring faith and hope to Norristown's Planned Parenthood this Christmas season.

The purpose of the event is to bring the joy and hope of Christmas to these places of misery and despair. Children have been saved from abortion when their mothers heard the carols and reconsidered their choice for abortion in light of the Christmas story.

Please, SAVE THE DATE for the following:
EVENT: 3rd Annual Empty Manger Christmas Caroling
WHERE: Norristown Planned Parenthood
1221 Powell & Wood St's. (Map)
DATE: Saturday, December 12, 2015 (Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Unborn & Americas)
TIME: 10:30 am to 11:30 am
Please dress warm and invite your family and friends. All are welcome!

The empty manger is a dual symbol. Like the empty manger lovingly placed in every Christmas crèche in anticipation of celebrating the Nativity of Jesus Christ, it represents the joy that ought to accompany the birth of every child.

The “Empty Manger” Christmas Caroling Day has become an important annual event for pro-life groups across the country.

So they went in haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the infant lying in the manger. When they saw this, they made known the message that had been told them about this child. All who heard it were amazed by what had been told them by the shepherds. And Mary kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart. Luke 2:16-19

What is easier than singing carols outside an abortion facility? God says whatever you do for the least of them you do for Him – what will you do? Will you join us as we sing Silent Night and reach out to the least of these?
