“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
—Isaiah 5:20

Isaiah warned it would happen — but who could have imagined it on this scale in the United States of America? Years of Christians sitting back meekly afraid of offending others has led us to a point where we are now consider “intolerant” if we don’t accept the immoral lifestyles of others, whether it be abortion, homosexuality, pre-marital sex, or violence. It Christians stand up for what they believe, they are vehemently opposed, and in some cases threatened with violence or lawsuits. Who would have ever believed we would see a time when standing up for God’s laws could be called a “hate crime?”
ReplyDeleteIt’s time for Christians to stop worrying about their earthly possessions or retributions and stand up for God’s law. Yes, there will be suffering, but better to suffer here on earth, than to have to explain to God when we meet Him in the next life that we just didn’t want to get involved!
