Converting Abortionists Through Prayer

Thirty-five years after Roe v. Wade, it's becoming increasingly clear that neither the Democrats nor the Republicans really want the debate over abortion to end. As long as it's still a viable political issue, each party can count on a certain number of votes. Some battles may be fought around the edges--over, say, federal funding for abortion or the partial-birth abortion ban--but for the foreseeable future, there will likely be no political solution to the destruction every year of somewhere between 1.2 million and 1.4 million unborn children.

So what can Catholics do? Many of us already donate money and time to crisis-pregnancy centers; some take in unwed mothers themselves; others even offer to adopt children who might otherwise be aborted. Not everyone has the resources to help in these ways, however.

Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

  1. Although this website speaks to Catholics in particular, all faiths are encouraged to join in prayer for the conversion of abortionists and all who work in abortion facilities. It will be through the power of prayer that we convert these people and finally end this atrocity.
