Petition | Thrivent - Establish policies to disallow pro-abortion groups from receiving funds and to allow pro-life groups to continue receiving funds. | Change.org

LCMS members outraged as they discover Thrivent has now denied funding to some of our pro-life women's services; while allowing funding for some pro-abortion causes. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is no longer proprietary to Lutherans and has now opened itself to broader Christian groups outside the Lutheran Church. It didn't take these alternate Christian groups long to implement their pro-abortion agenda within local chapters, where US tax law requires Thrivent (when acting as a non-profit charity) to release funds regardless of the causes members have engaged in.
