In the video below, Patty Hunter of Patty's Page, speaks with Monica Kelsey and her husband, Joe Kelsey, Mayor of Woodburn, Indiana about the upcoming hearing in Indianapolis on Feb. 13, 2017 regarding Safe Haven Baby Boxes.
According to Patty Hunter, "The Baby Boxes that Safe Haven promote are the last resort for the scared moms, who don't want their babies. Instead of abandoning the babies, to die, the Baby Boxes were made to save the newborns.
The boxes are situated in Fire Stations, Police Stations as well as hospitals; but the boxes are meant to be the last decision. There are Pregnancy Crisis Centers and pro-life organizations along with Women's Health Centers, who can help the moms and their children."

If you or someone you know is suffering after abortion, confidential non-judgmental help is available. Call Project Rachel's national toll-free number 888-456-HOPE (4673) or visit hopeafterabortion.org.
The Baby Boxes have been very successful in 3rd world countries and Monica believes that the reason it is is because it takes the face to face interaction out of the surrender. These women love their children and they want to do what's best for the child but they don't want to have their faces seen. The baby boxes takes the face to face interaction out of the surrender and protects the mother from being seen.
The Safe Haven Law provides No Shame, No Blame, No Names.
