Project Wildfire Calls on Advertisers to Reconsider FB Ads

MILWAUKEE, Wis., August 16, 2013/Christian
News Service/ — This week Facebook reversed its decision to ban an
atheist community page entitled Virgin Mary Should’ve Aborted. The social media giant originally took down the page August 7 after protests of concerned activists led by Project Wildfire.
“Basically Facebook and its founder Mark
Zuckerberg just slapped all Christians across the face with its
decision,” said Cary Bogue, founder of Project Wildfire. “I think
someone in upper level management originally shut the page down, then
the appeal got possibly as high as Zuckerberg himself. I’d bet that
after discussions with Liberal San Francisco lawyer’s, they decided they
could technically claim it didn’t violate FB policy. Now they believe
we are all spent out. Well, We are not!”

This is a public event that takes place on Monday, August 19th from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm.
This event is for ALL Pages which include [Virgin Mary or Jesus]
combined with the word [Abort]. Unfortunately Facebook thinks we are
willing to accept the same page with a slightly altered name. We are not
dumb. We will not be silenced. Therefore I ask EVERY Catholic &
Protestant help us speak out about this.
This will literally be a GOOD vs EVIL event! Your Participation, or lack of it will help determine how we do!
