Generation Life is a movement of young people
committed to building a Culture of Life by educating our peers on the pro-life
and chastity messages and developing new leaders for the pro-life movement. We
believe that by spreading the message of chastity, we can end abortion at the
root cause.
Generation Life reaches over 25,000 students each
year, offering educational programs for 7th - 12th grade students and college
students in the Philadelphia, PA area and beyond. Generation Life educators
have traveled to New York, Canada, Mexico, Kentucky and Europe.
On June 24th Generation Life/Family Life
Education Foundation will be having a golf-a-thon in Elverson, PA to raise
money for their pro-life work. They are
looking for golfers and also sponsors.
As a golfer, you get to play on one of the best golf
courses in our area. The event also includes breakfast, lunch and a great
dinner to close the event. We are providing two types of formats for golfers.
First is the traditional Golf-a-Thon, where a golfer attempts to play 100 holes
the day of the event. You start at dawn and play until you drop. To raise money
the golfer gets pledges to be paid based on the number of holes the golfer
actually plays. Second we are offering opportunities for golfers to play in
foursomes starting after lunch. These golfers play for a fixed fee and will be
included in the dinner celebration.
