2. Waco Trib: Susie Farley blasts John Pisciotta
I was honored to be criticized this morning in the Waco Tribune-Herald by a local supporter of Planned Parenthood. She criticized my recent letter to the editor.
One fallacious statement she makes in her letter is that Planned Parenthood provides mammograms. I thought by now everyone knew that this was not the case. To be continued. It’s always a plus when one of our letters to the editor generates a response from the pro-abortion side. We always win in this type of give-and-take. I ask you to consider writing a letter in response. Just send to letters@wacotrib.com Let’s keep Planned Parenthood and their supporters playing defense.
To strengthen our public witness, Pro-Life Waco will start using text messages as well as email to keep you informed about events a day or so in advance. I would like to include you. If you will join this, just send me a text message to 254-644-0407 with the message “subscribe”. I will send group texts under a special platform where any response will be seen by me -- not everyone in the group. We are engaged in an unprecedented challenge to Planned Parenthood in Waco. We must elevate our game plan and effectiveness.
4. Mark your calendar for an amazing June 10 Second Sunday
Our speaker is from West, Texas, a graduate of Baylor University, performed in the Golden Bear Marching Band, and now manages a local radio station. Remarkable? Incredibly so, when you realize that Stephanie has been blind from birth. Don’t miss this inspiring story of faith, courage, and sacrificial love. I have heard Stephanie’s wonderful testimony. Just one event I recall is her humorous telling about the day she found out she was blind.
5. Almost 20 deliver overpass outreach over Interstate 35 the Baylor
We had a great time engaging thousands of vehicles traveling I-35 on a busy Saturday morning. We were a diverse group. We had a productive two hours on the overpass and then a nice meal and good fellowship at Panera Bread provided by Pro-Life Waco. We would love to have you with us next time. Hats off to State Representative Doc Anderson and his wife Lyn for turning around, parking and staying with us for a good half hour after they happen to see us up on I-35. Mostly Here are some of the scenes.
