Last month, I shared the exciting news that the Trump Administration was announcing the "Protect Life Rule" that would block Planned Parenthood from getting our tax dollars under the Title X program.
But we're not there yet. Before the Protect Life Rule can be enacted, you and I have to take action now!
As with every proposed rule change, the Department of Health and Human Services is first seeking comments from the public.
Hundreds of thousands of comments are expected to be submitted -- and it's crucial that your pro-life voice be heard!
It only takes a few moments to submit your comment to HHS stating your support for the Protect Life Rule. Here are a couple things to keep in mind when you're writing your comment to HHS:
- The Protect Life Rule prevents abortion providers like Planned Parenthood from getting Title X funds.
- The Protect Life Rule will not reduce services to low-income women.
- Every dollar taken from Planned Parenthood will instead go to a legitimate healthcare provider.
Did you know that Title X is Planned Parenthood's second largest source of federal funding? The Protect Life Rule would strip them of $60 million per year!
No wonder Planned Parenthood is doing everything in their power to flood HHS with comments against the Protect Life Rule.
Don't let them get away with it! In your own words, tell HHS why the Protect Life Rule should be implemented:
If the Protect Life Rule is enacted, it will be the first time ever that Planned Parenthood has been stripped of any federal funding.
