De-Funding Planned Parenthood in Title X Not Certain Yet

from Anne Fox, President
Massachusetts Citizens for Life

While we are all so excited that President Trump plans to implement the intent of Congress' passage of Title X "family planning" funds, the battle is not quite over.

As we recently wrote, the new regulations would be similar to those promulgated by the Reagan Administration, but would still allow abortion counseling. It's also important to note that the Trump Administration regulations would also be much stricter about separating abortion monies and facilities from non-abortion monies and facilities. This is great news for unborn babies, particularly those in impoverished areas and within communities of color who are targeted by Planned Parenthood.

To ensure the Trump Administration legacy on abortion is cemented, it is vital that we submit comments to be sure these proposed regulations are adopted!
