1. Fertility expert to speak at Second Sunday
Our Second Sunday speaker for April 12 will be Agnes Bayer, a nurse practitioner with Scott and White Health Care. Agnes will speak on the topic "Pro-Life from the Start: Finding our Way Back to Fertility Appreciation". Agnes has so much knowledge and experience to offer as a teacher of NaProTechnologies with the Vitae Clinic out of Austin. The “Na” stands for natural and the “Pro” is for procreative. You will learn a lot this Sunday and be with many of your pro-life friends. Bring along a friend to Second Sunday for their first visit. As always, the event is at St. Mary’s Parish Hall at 15thand Columbus Ave. Meal served during noon-hour buffet style. (Arrive any time during the noon hour.) Adults just $3 for a wonderful meal. Children free. Meeting is from 1 to 2 p.m.
2. I-35 Pedestrian Overpass Demonstrations: More and Better
Our first monthly Overpass Demonstration in March was a huge success. Come to Second Sunday and see a short video about this outreach in March and learn about future plans. Our next overpass demonstration will be on Tuesday, April 28 from 5 to 7 PM at the overpass near Baylor. In May we will have a special demonstration event to call attention to the day the Kermit Gosnell guilty verdict was handed down. Our Life Chain event to take advantage of the pedestrian overpass on Valley Mills Drive near the former University High School. Let’ plan this one.
My bottom line statement is don’t miss second Sunday April 12.
