March for Life in the News

From Jeanne F. Mancini
President, March for Life

Outside our March for Life office in Washington, D.C. we have beautiful red roses that bloom every June. They are a distinct reminder to our staff of the symbol and logo of the March. For those who are not aware of the rich history behind the March for Life logo, be sure to read more here: Check it out HERE.

Meet Our Staff
We are excited to introduce to you the final new member of our staff, Laura Demangone! Laura recently joined our staff as Administrative Assistant giving support to accounting, fundraising, and other administrative responsibilities.

Previously, Laura worked with the Catholic Student Center (CSC) at the University of Florida where she helped with retreats, vocations ministry, and other student events as a Campus Minister. Prior to working with the CSC, she was a missionary in Miami, Florida and Thibodaux, Louisiana serving the Catholic Church.

During the past two years of service, she fully enjoyed forming relationships and encountering new places.

Laura earned her bachelor’s degree in Family, Youth and Community Sciences with a minor in Educational Studies at the University of Florida. She enjoys being outdoors, riding the metro, and reading a good book. Please join us in welcoming her to our staff!

I also wanted to draw your attention to a couple of op-eds and blog posts I and my staff had the opportunity to write over the last few weeks on the latest pro-life news:

Next month you will start to see more details about March for Life 2016, when we hit the six month countdown to January 22, 2016. Stay tuned!

If you aren’t already, please be sure to follow the March for Life on Facebook and Twitter so you never miss another blog post!
