Planned Parenthood President Invades Pennsylvania's Capitol. Take Action Now.‏

Michael Geer, President and CEO
Pennsylvania Family Council

Planned Parenthood’s National President, Cecile Richards, teamed up with Gov. Tom Wolf at the Capitol in Harrisburg on Monday where they spoke at a press conference in opposition to H.B. 1948, which would update our quarter-century-old law and end late-term and dismemberment abortions in PA.

Cecile Richards opposes any restrictions on abortion whatsoever, promoting it even to the moments before birth. Planned Parenthood claims that HB 1948 is extreme, vicious – even dangerous. The opposite is true. Ending late-term and dismemberment abortions in Pennsylvania is the compassionate, humane thing to do.

We’ve got a fight on our hands, and we need you. Planned Parenthood is pulling out all the stops – even sending their top gun to the Capitol to fight for their radical agenda. That’s why we need you to call your State Representative and State Senator to support HB 1948, and to get others to do the same.

HB 1948 protects the health of the mother; it stops the gruesome dismemberment abortion procedure. HB 1948 also stops abortions currently happening at 24 weeks – when the vast majority could survive and thrive outside the womb - by updating the limit to 20 weeks, a time when these little human beings can feel pain.
