Pro-Life Waco Updates

from John Pisciotta

Director of Pro-Life Waco

NEVER Again! Billboard on Franklin Avenue at 16th Street

I displayed this photo on Facebook yesterday and received a very positive reaction. Please drive by, see it, and pray that the message will have a profound impact. The Franklin location receives a whole lot of views from downtown area travelers. This billboard will receive a whole lot of “like.” It will also receive some “dislikes” from those who embrace the shedding of innocent blood. The divide is deep between anti-abortion and pro-abortion. We continue to proclaim that the very thought of abortion resuming in Waco should break our hearts and spur us to action in faithful discipleship.

Protest of “Cocktails for a Cause” PP fundraiser in Austin on May 11

Our big outreach in May will be in Austin where we will protest the Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas Cocktails for a Cause fundraiser. The location in downtown Austin is “The Belmont” at 305 W 6th Street. Our dynamic outreach will let the leadership and supporters of Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas know how much we abhor the return of abortion to Waco. Click here and access the flyer on the event that you can share with your neighbors. Note that the flyer mentions that we will display a huge sign that will be the biggest ever used a pro-life outreach in the history of Texas. I can’t give all the details now. However, you will not want to miss this historic event. The Pro-Life Waco van pool will depart from St. Mary’s Church parking lot at 2:30 PM on Thursday, May 11 for the protest that will be from 5 to 6:30 PM. You are welcome to go down to Austin on your own and join us there. Make this a family vacation day in Austin. We invite our pro-life friends in Austin to come out in solidarity to support us in this NEVER Again in Waco! outreach.
