One More Reason to Attend Our Pro-Life Town Hall Meeting

By Maria Gallagher, Legislative Director
Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation

Facetime is such a marvelous innovation. The ability to see the happy smiling face of a friend while speaking on an iPhone is such an incredible gift.

But when it comes to forming meaningful relationships, experts say electronic communications--even the most visual--are not enough. We also need old-fashioned "face time," in other words, face to face communication with the people who are important to us.

Each year our Executive Director and Education Director set out on a grand adventure, circling the state with a series of Pro-Life Town Hall meetings. These are magnificent events because they allow people some face time with other committed pro-lifers, enabling them to connect, to learn, and to grow.

During my time as Education Director, I found our Pro-Life Town Hall tour to be one of the highlights of my tenure. To be able to meet people where they were--in their own communities--and talk about the most profound issues of our day was inspiring, invigorating, and instrumental in strengthening Pennsylvania's pro-life movement.

Please consider attending one of the meetings planned for this year's Town Hall Tour. Chances are, you will come away with new ideas, new friendships, and a new vigor for helping pregnant women, their children, the frail elderly, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable populations.

Life is indeed winning not only in Washington, but in Pennsylvania as well. You can keep the momentum going through some quality "face time" at a pro-life town hall meeting.

Below is a list of the Pro-Life Town Hall events taking place in Pennsylvania.  If there is no Pro-life Town Hall meeting scheduled in your area yet, and you are willing to host one, please contact Executive Director Michael Ciccocioppo at ciccocioppo@paprolife.org.
