Washington, DC - According to pundits and polls, the Senate race in Virginia is all but over, but Operation Rescue doesn't buy it.
Pro-life Republican Corey Stewart is challenging incumbent Democrat Sen. Tim Kaine, who campaigned in 2016 as Hillary Clinton's running mate.
"We believe Kaine's seat is vulnerable, despite all the suppression polling out there that is meant to make people believe this race is already over. Kaine represents the corrupt Clinton agenda of unrestricted abortion, higher taxes, and disastrous foreign policies that nearly destroyed America and our economy," said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue. "Corey Stewart's positions on the issues are the polar opposite of Kaine's radical leftist views."
Operation Rescue believes that Kaine's affiliation with "Crooked Hillary" Clinton should be enough to make Virginia voters look elsewhere.
"Corey Stewart is a conservative Republican who is ardently pro-life and a supporter of President Trump's 'Make America Great Again' agenda. America needs Corey Stewart in the U.S. Senate to ensure that Trump's policies move forward," said Newman. "With Stewart, we have a better chance of seeing Planned Parenthood defunded and pro-life laws passed that will save lives. I enthusiastically endorse Corey Stewart for the U.S. Senate."
Operation Rescue urges Virginians - and all Americans - to get out to the polls on November 6 and cast their votes for pro-life conservative Republicans. If the pro-abortion Democrats are allowed to win back the House or the Senate, all conservative policies, including the defunding of Planned Parenthood, will become impossible.
"We can't afford to stay home because the polls are not favorable. During the 2016 Presidential election, the polls were notoriously rigged against Trump. The only way for good conservative, pro-life candidates to win is for us to get out and vote," said Newman. "We have more power than we know, but we must exercise that power in the voting booth. I stand with Corey Stewart and encourage every eligible Virginian vote for him on November 6."
