Waco Rally Opposing Planned Parenthood Desecration of Babies

from John Pisciotta, Director
Pro-Life Waco

Along with over 65 cities nationwide, Waco delivered a “Women Betrayed Rally” at the McLennan County Courthouse on the morning of July 28, 2015. The 9-10 a.m. event was a response of outrage over the depravity of Planned Parenthood clinics stripping organs from innocent and precious babies they abort. Here is a broad view of the pro-life faithful. Below there in a link of a slide show on the Rally.

The local event was sponsored by Pro-Life Waco and Righteous Remnant—a new Christian organization headed by Jessica Weatherby. National organizer was Students for Life of America, led by Kristan Hawkins. The weather was moderate and we were in the shade of old oak trees. The Holy Spirit moved strongly. 150-175 people attended the event.

Strong presentations were delivered by local pastors Joe Geleney, Ramiro Peña, and John Guzaldo. Jessica Weatherby was emcee. The final two speakers were Texas State Representative of Belton, Molly White and Pro-Life Waco Director John Pisciotta. The program ended with Kristi Jergenson and her daughters leading the faithful in Amazing Grace.

Molly White spoke about her own tragic abortion decisions and the need for a strong investigation of Planned Parenthood by the Texas House.

John Pisciotta made a passionate call to action in the weeks and months ahead. The action will likely include demonstrations against businesses donating to Planned Parenthood. There are also grave concerns about Susan Komen Central Texas which makes a grant each year to Planned Parenthood from funds raised in the annual Race for the Cure.

On the political front, we urged governmental defunding of Planned Parenthood and strong investigation of Planned Parenthood potential criminal acts.

Local CBS, NBC, and ABC affiliates covered the story and aired powerful news segments.

This video is the news segment from NBC affiliate KCEN.
