Our Duty as Christians in the Upcoming Elections

A very pro-life homily concerning the upcoming elections.

The video below is a homily given on Respect Life Sunday at Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral in Phoenix, Arizona by Reverend John Lankeit.

While Father addresses Catholics, this sermon or one similar to it should be given in every Christian church in our nation before the election.

  1. After a long evening of thought, here's what I came up with. Abortion is intrinsically evil. Granted. We are not voting in favor of abortion. We are voting for someone else to have the right/ability to make a choice, based on her individual conscience. Hopefully, with proper education and prayer on our part that person will make the choice that we would make. In addition to that, I highly doubt that what "the other candidate" says will necessarily be what he does.
