MONDAY, MARCH 2, 2015 - 10:00 - 12:00 NOON
From John Pisciotta,
Director of Pro-Life Waco
Please read every word of this rally to battle. Every one of us can participate.
We all know about the abomination of TARGET selling sex toys and other products to promote the 50 Shades of Gray movie. Last week a student at the University of Illinois was charged with rape. His defense? “I was just reenacting scenes of the 50 Shades of Grey movie.” Are we going to complain and shrug our shoulders OR are we going to act? The day has come to stand up to TARGET and proclaim to their customers and the public that TARGET will suffer for enticing our children to sin and harm.
ACTION REQUEST #1 to all near Waco or Georgetown who can stand to defend of our children. The Mondaydemonstration will be at the University Ave. entrance to TARGET. If you wish to drive there, I look forward to seeing you. We have signs—4’x4’ and 2’x2. If you want a ride in a car pool, go to the parking lot of St. Mary’s Church in Waco for departure at 8:30 a.m. Help is needed from folks residing in Georgetown, Round Rock, Austin, Temple, Belton, etc. If you are driving, there is no need to be there right at 10, and no need to stay all the way to noon.
ACTION REQUEST #2 for those (wherever you live) who cannot participate in the demonstration. During the time of the Monday demonstration contact national TARGET by phone at 800-440-0680 or on-line here and let them know they are being hit by a demonstration in Georgetown, Texas.
This will maximize the impact of the demonstration. Ask the TARGET representative to pull the 50 Shade products out of stores and apologize to their customer base.
We find these words in Chapter 18 of the Gospel of Matthew:
If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!
Do you think this implies that we disciples of Christ should stand up against persons who promote evil to children?
