An expert on eugenics and abortion is taking issue with a Christian magazine for publishing a positive story about Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood.

The article by Rachel Marie Stone in Christianity Today ("Contraception Saves Lives") notes that while Sanger didn't support abortion, she did support contraception for what she considered to be lower classes of people. Mark Crutcher of Life Dynamics tells OneNewsNow that "birth control is one of the things that has led to abortion."

"And even Planned Parenthood was making that statement back in the 1950s," he continues. "Mary Calderon made that statement when she was president of Planned Parenthood .... [S]he stated that they found the highest incidence of abortion among the groups that were contracepting [sic].

"For this magazine to claim to be Christian while promoting this stuff, it's an obscenity," says Crutcher.
