1. Leading pro-life blogger to speak at Second Sunday
Our Second Sunday speaker for March 8 will be Carole Novielli, a leading pro-life blogger. Check her out here. From Denton, Texas, for over 30 years Carole has been in the forefront of the pro-life battle. She is a meticulous researcher and knows Planned Parenthood inside and out. The title of her presentation is “Make These Children Your Own.” As always, the event is at St. Mary’s Parish Hall at 15th and Columbus Ave. Meal served during noon hour buffet style. 2. The Drop Box is showing tonight in Waco and across the country
Tonight Friday March 5 is the last showing by Focus on The Family of a very special documentary movie “The Drop Box” at 7 p.m. at the Regal Jewel Theatre in Woodway. The movie is about a Christian pastor in South Korea who set up a special drop box to save the lives of hundreds of babies. Don’t miss this opportunity. Get more information about the film here.
3. Reports from the front on the “Battle of Target”
Over this last month Pro-Life Waco has led a Texas and national campaign to get Target stores to remove it promotional products for the degrading and deplorable movie 50 Shades of Grey. The campaign that included a demonstration at Target in Georgetown this last Monday has been hugely successful.
