The elections of 2016 are in fact the most important elections so far in our lifetime. And the People of God are called to rise to the occasion and elect public servants who know the difference between serving the public and killing the public.
Click here to hear the homily Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, preached at the national gathering of the Catholic Marketing Network on Thursday, July 28, 2016. The Trade Show brought together Catholic publishers, media apostolates, bookstores and others in Chicago for several days.
In this homily, Fr. Frank speaks directly to the confusion surrounding this election, especially the Presidential race, and shows why we cannot take a "pass" on voting. Moreover, he shows how we can cut through the apathy and cynicism, do our homework on the candidates and their parties, take up the armor of faith, and jump into the battle.
Fr. Frank quotes the United States Bishops in their landmark document, Living the Gospel of Life.
