ACTION NEEDED ON NJ PHYSICIAN ASSISTED SUICIDE BILL, A2270/S382!

Marie Tasy, Executive Director
New Jersey Right to Life

Now that the Assembly Election is over, the Legislature has until January 11, 2016 to pass bills that are pending. If bills that are pending don't pass both houses of the legislature by that time, they will expire and have to be reintroduced.

As you know, the Assembly passed the NJ Physician Assisted Suicide bill last November.

Click HERE to see how your Two Assembly Members voted.

The bill is awaiting a vote in the NJ Senate. Please email, call and schedule meetings with your State Senator immediately and urge him/her to vote No on A2270/S382.

Please do this even if you have contacted them before on this issue. I am including a link to an awesome exchange between J.J.Hanson, a Marine who has the same brain cancer that Brittany Maynard had and Bill Spadea, host of 101.FM radio which took place today on the radio which you may find useful.   You can read the summary and listen to the exchange HERE

You may also want to visit the NJ Alliance Against Doctor Prescribed Suicide website HERE for more information and to find your legislator.

There is no question that our job just got a lot harder; but rest assured, we will not retreat or remain silent.

With your help and through God's grace, we will persevere. We have to, precious lives depend on us.
